Canadian Military Deploys Along U.S. Border With New York To Stop Asylum Seekers

Canadian Military Deploys Along U.S. Border With New York To Stop Asylum Seekers

Canada has sent about 100 soldiers to a remote spot on the Quebec-New York border where asylum seekers are crossing illegally.
The Canadian military said in a statement Wednesday that the soldiers will help the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Canada Border Services Agency at the site.
They are preparing a place for tents that can hold almost 500 people. They will also install lighting and heating equipment. The military says the soldiers won’t play a role in security and won’t be helping with law enforcement.
The military says that once the site is completed, only a few will soldiers will stay behind. The rest will go back to their home base.

100 soldiers is pretty much the whole Canadian Army, right?

All these poor Haitians want is to make a better life for themselves. Any they already speak French (or Creole anyway). What's not to like?

What is not to like? They were brought in under "Special Conditions" when Clinton was SecState, if memory serves me.

The special conditions mandates they are to return home at the end of 2017.

What is not to like? They want to break the law and overstay their visa status. They are no different than our eleven million + other lawbreakers on U.S. soil. Minus borders, we cease to be a nation. Minus borders, we have become an Islamic Caliphate. Islam supports a concept of open range and no borders because it all belongs to Allah.

We are a Republic and a Democracy.

Bite me.

TLEP: My remark was intended to be sarcastic. The heroic Justin Trudeau should be welcoming these French speaking "refugees" with open arms should he not? Why is he siccing the Army on them? That's something Trump would do. (Sarcasm).

Trump is ending TPS, which the Hatians and many Central Americans benefitted from. They are not eligible for asylum for the most part and need to return to their home countries.

Trudeau is a hypocrite. He tells us what we should do, but won't step up to the plate and take in these "migrants."
