I've Given Up On GWB

Dated February 27, 2006, and signed by Special Assistant to the Preseident and Director of Presidential Correspondence (my comments in red brackets):

On behalf of President Bush, thank you for your correspondence. The President appreciates your taking the time to write. [As I recall, I sent to the White House some passages from the Koran and the Hadith to point out that Islam is not a religion of peace. I also explained the concept of abrogation of verses]...

doncha know it's a form letter sent to anyway who puts "Islam" in his letter. I just write the subject like: "PLEASE SAY NO TO ISLAMIC FASCISM" or some such, and very little in the body of the letter. I am sure they NEVER EVER go to any of the web sites you might give them nor read more than half a dozen words,,,,

you people dont realise the whole of the Koran and the Hadhith. So stop making your own conclusions!!

You take one Verse seperately and take the meaning.

Its like saying a part of what is actually being said. Know this, that every verse in the Koran is related to the verse before and after it. you dont know a thing about islam than what you are being told.

you people should be thankful to the muslims in the first place. they taught you how to think further and they saved the community and had laws that are much established 1400 yrs before you made your own "civilised" laws.

islam is a religion of peace. and u dont realise it. May Allah guide everyone in the right path. Ameen.

each verse of a surah/chapter is related to the whole chapter. You have to take the meaning from the whole context, not just one verse.

That is Unlike the Bible or Torah where you take meanings of each verse seperately. and best of all Torah and Bible are books which you people have modified as you see fit, while Quran hasnt changed for 1400 yrs and is still perfect. Laws you people have made now were made 1400 yrs ago in our religon.
